1. NEW CLUB ENTRY (a) All clubs applying for entry must get the approval of the Delegates at the Annual General Meeting. (b) Any club wishing to enter a team for the current season and not represented at a General Meeting, shall be fined the sum of ten dollars ($10.00). (c) The closing date of entry of teams and payment of registration to be reviewed prior to the start of each season at the discretion of the Committee. 2. MATCHES (a) Matches shall be played under Tennis Australia rules, except where such rules are altered herein. For Wednesday tennis, each home team must have available at least one court per match. Thursday division at least one and a half courts per match. Wednesday and Thursday are two separate competitions. Matches must be played as listed in the fixture unless prior permission is granted by the Committee. A request to change courts must be made to the appropriate Secretary at least 24 hours prior to the commencement of the match. (b) A match shall consist of six sets of Womens Doubles in the following order:- 1st and 2nd, 3rd and 4th, 1st and 3rd, 2nd and 4th, 1st and 4th, 2nd and 3rd. Sets in all cases shall consist of eight game sets. Sets may be played out of order with the full agreement of both captains. (c) Each team shall play a round of Home and Away matches on Wednesday/Thursday of each week, at the end of which the four leading teams shall play the final series according to the Knockout system i.e. 1v4, 2v3, and winners play the Grand Final. In the event of the points of any of the teams being equal at the end of the Home and Away matches, their position shall be decided on the percentage of games won and lost.
