6. MATCH CONDUCT (a) Matches shall not commence later than 9.30 a.m. If the full team is not in attendance and ready to play at this time the first set is liable to be forfeited, the second set at 9.45 a.m. and the complete match at 10.00 a.m. (b) Both teams to sweep, water and assist in preparation of courts between sets. (c) When courts need mopping all players are to assist, but where possible the home team to have courts mopped by 9.30 a.m. (d) If a player or players are not present when called upon to play the set will be forfeited 8-0 and so would any subsequent sets affected by the players absence from the court surrounds. (e) Prior to the commencement of a match the respective Captains shall exchange lists of their teams in the order in which they are to play. This order to be adhered to throughout the match. If not the offending players lose that set to love. (f) Captains will also fill out the official score card/sheet with the family name and first name of each team member playing. Failure to do so will result in a fine of ten dollars ($10.00). Official score cards/sheets must be retained by team captains until the end of the season.
