3. COMPOSITION OF TEAMS (a) The teams are to be divided into as many grades or sections as may be considered necessary by the Committee. (b) The team for each match shall consist of four ladies. (c) Where clubs have two teams graded in one section, registered players must not interchange. Club Reps. must contact relevant Record Secretary prior to the commencement of season. 4. BALLS (a) Four new VTA approved balls shall be provided by the Home team for each match, including finals games. The container to be opened at match. (b) Lost balls to be replaced by best available seconds balls. 5. COURT ATTIRE (a) Coloured tennis garments and footwear may be worn. Ripple-soled and/or heeled shoes are not classed as tennis shoes. Compression garments may only be worn under tennis attire. Prominent advertising or lettering in any form other than small motifs is not permitted. (b) Players may elect to wear a skirt, dress, tennis shorts or tracksuit pants. (c) Incorrect dress means a player is not ready to play and sets may be claimed as per Rule 5(c).
