11. DETERMINATION OF MATCHES
(a) All Home and Away matches shall be determined on sets first; if sets are equal, then on games. Two (2)
points shall be awarded to the winning team, plus one (1) point for each set won (maximum of 8 points
per match).
(b) In the event of sets and games being equal, four (4) points each shall be awarded. In finals, if games
and sets are equal, refer to Rule 15b.
(c) For a forfeit, the team not defaulting shall be awarded eight (8) points and a game win of 48 to 24. No
premiership points and a corresponding game loss of 24 to 48 will be given to the defaulting team.
(d) In matches interrupted by rain or in which NO DECISION has been reached, one (1) point each plus one
(1) point for each set won. For sets not completed the remaining points shall be equally divided.
(e) A complete washout, four (4) points each.
(f) In matches where A DECISION has been reached, but the match not completed, two (2) points for a win,
and one (1) point for each set won, and remaining points shall be equally divided for sets not completed.
(g) Four (4) points to be awarded to a team that has a bye.
12. MATCH RESULTS
(a) The results of matches shall be forwarded to the Record Secretary on the official online Mail Form by
the Home Team and shall reach her by 12.00 noon on the day following the match. Failure to comply with
this Rule entails a fine of ten dollars ($10.00) for each offence.
(b) The results of the last two home and away matches must be submitted on the online Mail Form, by the
home team to the appropriate Record Secretary by 5.00 p.m. on the day of the match. Failure to comply
with this rule entails a fine of ten dollars ($10.00). The results of all Finals matches must be submitted on
the online Mail Form, by the winning team, to the appropriate Record Secretary by 5.00 p.m. on the day of
the match. Failure to comply with this rule entails a fine of ten dollars ($10.00).
(c) If all fines are not paid to the Association Treasurer within 45 days from the date of advisement these
fines will be doubled.
